What does Road Level Quantity Calculation Software do?
It turns road survey levels into quantities. Enter back sight, intermediate sight and fore sight readings, and it calculates the height of instrument and reduced levels, then the earthwork, GSB, WBM and side shoulder quantities, gutter and approved cutting, and billing sheets ready to export.
What if there is no initial ground survey?
Earthwork can be calculated from an assumed initial surface built from the final level and your approved range. When the actual initial survey is available, select it instead and embankment and cutting are calculated chainage by chainage from real levels.
Which road layers does it calculate?
Earthwork, GSB, WBM first, second and third, and side shoulder, each with its approved method, reference sheet and rounding, plus a spare layer for future use.
How does it avoid wrong quantities from bad data?
A validator checks for duplicate or backward chainages, mismatched point counts between the initial and final levels, and non numeric offsets, and the quantities are refreshed only after the inputs pass.
Can I export the results?
Yes. Selected level sheets and billing sheets export to separate files with one click, arranged in date order.
