Challan Mapping And Clearance
Map quantities received on a supplier challan to the later final invoice, track cleared against pending, and clear purchase return challans the same way.
Job Work, Both Directions
Send material to job workers and receive it back partially or finally, and hold customer owned material separately from your own stock, each with configurable pending return alerts.
Returns Classified And Linked
Internal returns are recorded as UNUSED, REUSABLE or SCRAP and stay linked to the original issue, so reusable and scrap balances never mix with normal inventory.
Controlled Opening Migration
Bring in opening stock, pending challans, opening job work and reusable balances, lock them once verified, then correct finalised data through a traceable correction chain rather than overwriting it.
FIFO Or Weighted Average
Value stock on either basis, with item wise quantity precision from 0 to 3 decimals and the valuation basis shown on the report.

What is Store Management Software?
A Windows Excel application for running stores and inventory on one central MS Access database shared across your LAN. It covers purchase inward, challan mapping and clearance, store issue, sales outward, branch transfers, job work in both directions, returns classified as unused, reusable or scrap, controlled opening migration, and 27 operational and management reports.
Can several people use it at once?
Yes. The database sits on a shared folder and every authorised operator runs their own licensed copy against it. Colleagues who only need to read reports can use the Store Management Reports add-on instead of a full key.
How is stock valued?
On FIFO or Weighted Average. Weighted Average can be the company default, and the valuation basis in force is printed on the report so a number is never ambiguous.
What does it track for job work?
Both directions. Material sent to a job worker is tracked until it comes back, partially or finally, and customer owned material received is held separately from your own stock. Both have configurable pending return alert days.
Can I correct opening data after finalising it?
Yes, through a correction chain. The original source row is never overwritten: a correction is recorded against it and the latest correction can be reversed where allowed, so the history stays auditable.
What reports does it include?
27, covering stock by location and branch, periodical stock position, stock ledger, minimum stock alerts, challan and job work pending follow up, ageing, slow and non moving analysis, turnover and utilisation, consumption, purchase and outward valuation. All export to PDF or Excel.
